In 2007: Gonzalez had his finest season in 2007 at the minor league level. After being given the opportunity to become a started with AA Arkansas, Gonzalez was named the Texas League Pitcher of the Week twice, and was also a Texas League Post-Season All-Star. He struck out a career high 81 batters and pitched a career high 130.2 innings. The Guadalajara, Mexico native finished second in the Texas League in ERA.
