Mathis put on Rangers’ 15-day disabled list		Rodriguez Off to Impressive Start
	WASHINGTON (AP) — The Texas Rangers placed right-handed pitcher Doug Mathis on the 15-day disabled list Friday because of inflammation in his right shoulder.		Craig Rodriguez of the Asville Tourists is off to a 3-1 start with a miniscule 1.93 ERA. In 18.2 innings, Rodriguez has struck out 17 batters while allowing only 11 base-hits. Opponents are only hitting .172 off of him this season.


Henry Named By "Baseball America"		Thompson Mashing for Wingnuts
	9th Round Draft Choice Justin Henry was named as having one of the Detroit Tigers Best "Professional Debuts" by "Baseball America", as well as being selected the Tigers "Sleeper of the Draft".		Mike Thompson of the Independent League Witchita Wingnuts has started the season at a torrid pace. Thompson is leading the American Association with 13 extra-base hits, while leading the team with 9 doubles, 3 home-runs, and one triple. He is slugging a robust .731.
