BASEBALL AMERICAS DRAFT REPORT CARD RATES SANDERS AS THE “BEST PRO DEBUT” IN REDS SYSTEM

DALLAS, TEXAS – (November 4, 2004) – Baseball America’s 2004 Draft Report Card has named Sports Pro Services client Jared Sanders as having the “Best Pro Debut” within the Cincinnati Reds 2004 draft class. Sanders was selected in the 14th round of this year’s 2004 Major League Baseball’s First-Year Player Draft.

Sanders pitched for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League. As the club’s closer, he led the team in saves with 5 (tied for 7th in the league) and also maintained the staff’s lowest ERA at 2.00. Sanders was also tops in HR allowed with the team, giving up none against 101 batters faced. He had a strong strikeout-to-walk ratio of 22-6, the 6 th best ratio in the league for relievers with 20 plus innings. Sanders ranked 2 nd in the league for relievers with 20 plus innings with a walk/hits to innings pitched ratio of .96.
