TROLIA PLAYS IN MLB SPRING TRAINING GAME FOR SEATTLE |

DALLAS, TEXAS – (March 28, 2005) – Sports Pro Services (SPS) client Aaron Trolia pitched one inning in Seattle’s 15-9 victory over the White Sox in today’s MLB Spring Training Game. Trolia surrendered one run on one hit in his inning of work. |

Last season was Trolia’s first professional season, as the workhorse spent time as both a starter and closer for the Everett Aquasox of the Northwest League, an (A) affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. He ranked second on the team in games pitched with (20) as well as second in the team in saves with (6), tying him for 4th in the league in the category. Trolia surrendered less than a hit per inning pitched, and in his 4 starts with 24 innings of work, he compiled an impressive 2.25 ERA without allowing a home run and only surrendering 18 hits, to go along with a strong WHIP of 1.08. |
