I have been using the services of Dan Burgers and Sports Pro Services since the fall of 2005 and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The months leading up to the MLB Draft can be a stressful and overwhelming time for a player. Dan eased the pressure by effectively communicating with scouts and other team officials, so all I had to worry about was playing baseball. He kept me well informed so I knew what to expect leading up to draft day. I can't imagine having gone through the draft process without the help of SPS. Since the draft, Dan has provided me with all the necessary equipment to perform on the field and has showed no signs of curbing his enthusiasm for the advancement of my career. I know I can call anytime, with any question, and receive immediate assistance. Dan truly makes you feel like you are his only client. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SPS to any of my former or fellow teammates. |

I have had the pleasure of having Dan Burgers as my agent for three years now. Dan has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Not only does he always makes sure that I have everything I need when it comes to being on the field, but he also does what he can to make sure that my time off the field is as comfortable as possible as well. Dan is professional in the work that he does. He never hesitates to ask if something can be done and is always great at doing things that I have asked him to do on my behalf. Besides having a strong professional relationship, he and I have also created a strong personal relationship as well. I have all the trust in the world in Dan because of the relationship that we have built. Also, from speaking with Dan about other client’s, I know that creating a strong partnership with all of his clients is very important. I feel that I am very lucky to have Dan as my agent and I look forward to building on the already strong partnership that we already have.

I decided to go with Dan and Jason prior to the 2007 draft. They really made me feel comfortable and they provided me with all of the information that I needed. They treated me with respect and also made me feel very important. The draft can be a stressful thing, but Dan and Jason really helped me with the process. After the draft they took care of everything. They provided me with top-notch equipment and were able to help me with any situation that came up. There is no doubt that Dan and Jason have done nothing but facilitate the transition to professional baseball. I would definitely recommend Sports Pro Services to any aspiring professional athlete. |

I decided to go with Dan Burgers and Sports Pro Services early on in the draft process of my senior year and it proved to be a good decision for me. Dan proved to be very knowledgeable about the entire process and answered any questions that I had while handling all the issues that came up, so that I could mainly focus on baseball and not get caught up in the draft. All the time I felt assured that Dan and Jason were on top of things and keeping me informed of what was going on. They both called enough to see how I was doing and to let me know what was transpiring, but did not inform me too much as to stress me out about the draft. After the draft, Dan took care of all my needs on and off the field, such as providing me with all of the equipment that I would need and by taking care of all the off the field matters that would prepare me for professional baseball. I feel that Dan really cares that I have everything that I need and is also very professional, but also takes the time to get to know me while still always calling to see how I am doing and making sure I have everything. I am very pleased so far to be working with Dan, Jason, and Sports Pro Services, and would recommend them to any aspiring professional athlete. |

I have been with Dan and his staff since the 2006 draft and have nothing but great things
to say about the way they take care of me. Whether it is equipment or advice about
staying ahead of the game they are always accommodating. I chose not to have an advisor going into the draft, which I now regret. Not only could Dan have assisted with
negotiations but also relieved the stress of talking to scouts constantly while trying to
finish a college season. Dan has provided me with equipment to my specifications on time whenever I need it. If I have a question Dan or Jason are very easy to get a hold of and always have the answer. I know that some of my teammates do not have great relationships with their agents and when I tell them about Dan and Jason they wish they were with Sports Pro Services. Thanks. |

Dan made the transition from College to Pro Ball easy and painless. From the very beginning Dan prepared me for the expected and the unexpected as an advisor during the 2004 draft and as an agent during the 2005 draft. Without his guidance, I don't think I would have been able to put together a successful first year campaign to lay the groundwork for a successful career in Professional Baseball for years to come. With his assistance, there is no need to worry about off field issues while you are working on the field. Dan allows you to focus on the task at hand while he takes care of the intangibles. |

To Whom It May Concern, As the parent of a young man who was drafted by Major League Baseball both as a college junior and senior, I can easily write with confidence and sincerity regarding Dan Burgers and Sports Pro Services. Unexpectedly drafted as a junior, we were caught unprepared regarding the details and pressures of the draft process. A flurry of phone calls from those seeking to represent him made life hectic for three days. Dan came on the scene through a recommendation from another college parent. His approach to settling us down was immediate and without “strings” or reservations. His knowledge and concern for our position was polite, patient, and proved to be genuinely solid advice. At the end of the summer, there was no signing…..a decision confidently made with Dan's input. It was from the beginning of senior year to the 2005 MLB draft that we really got to know what an advisor (agent) really does. Throughout this period, Dan was always accessible, willing to listen, attentive to our concerns, and knowledgeable about “our” approach to being drafted. Once again his expertise, candor, resolve, planning and follow through approach got us the results we expected. While Sports Pro Services may not be as high profile as other agencies, anyone contracting his services will surely find he is versatile and most competent to negotiate a contract tailored to fit your needs. As a satisfied parent, I can truly say “use him with confidence”. |

To: Whom it May Concern Please accept this letter in reference to Mr. Dan Burgers. I have had the opportunity to work with Dan over the past 5 seasons during his time within the Central Hockey League. I have found Dan to be a very detailed orientated Executive who has a great deal of insight into how a successful organization must be structured and operated. Dan has been successful during his tenure within our league, most specifically, in his understanding of the financial and sales aspects of our business. If you have any further questions as they relate to Mr. Burgers, I would be available to address these with you at your convenience. Sincerely, Brad Treliving |

As someone who has known Dan Burgers for almost ten years, I can honestly describe him as one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent and honest people I have been associated with in the sports business. He has always been passionate about everything he has done in sports. From our time working side by side with the New Jersey Devils to the times when we worked in tandem when he was the Assistant GM of the Fort Worth Brahmas and I was the VP of Sales & Marketing for the WPHL, Dan has always proved to be an impressive individual who speaks his mind, remains true to his convictions, and stands by his word. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking to get a head in this business, whether on or off the field, align themselves with a person of Dan's character. Chris Potenza |

To whom it may concern: I am currently working for the Texas Rangers Baseball Team and I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan Burgers for the last five years. I worked under Dan for two years while I was with the Fort Worth Brahmas Hockey team; and feel strongly that the reason I am currently where I am today is primarily from the work ethic and leadership that he displayed while working together. While I was with the Brahmas, Dan was our Assistant General Manager. He dealt with the day to day operations, hired employees, coaches and recruited players for the team. Dan is a diligent worker and isn't afraid to put in long hours on the job. He always had a great rapport with the players and the staff. Due to his strong ethics and approach, when he resigned from the Brahmas, some players and staff members followed him to the New Mexico Scorpions Hockey Club, as the loyalty and support earned by him was unquestionable. It's hard to find good people like Dan who has proven leadership abilities. He is one of the few people that I truly trust, and have often turned to him for professional advice and guidance; he has never steered me wrong! Additionally, he has a great business mind and doesn't get pushed around when it's time to make business decisions. He speaks his mind and has always been honest and upfront, a rare quality that I have not often found in this business. Yours Truly, Pat HarveyTexas Rangers |
